Published Titles
My first book is a chapbook of poems, The Sudden Drown of Knowing.
My book, The Legend of the Valentine, is about Marcus, a nine-year-old boy in Alabama who integrates into a white school during the civil rights movement.
My third book is called
Sleepy-Time Dance
and it’s a board book for babies. When my four children were babies, I
used to dance them around the room to get them to sleep. While we
danced, I sang to them.
Sleepy-Time
Dance
is that song.
My second book of poetry is
Yielding to Calliope
My third book of poetry is Considering Flight.
